The Board of Directors serves as the governing body of Americans for Decency in Government, providing oversight, strategic direction, and accountability for the organization's mission and resources. The board ensures the work remains nonpartisan, ethical, and focused on promoting integrity and basic human decency in public service.

Michael Cannon
Board Chair & FounderA former naval officer with over 20 years of leadership experience at IBM, Cisco, and Red Hat. He is passionate about making a positive difference for the country.

Brian Klemm
Board Secretary & Co-FounderOver 20 years of experience at SAS and Red Hat as a corporate attorney, with deep expertise in global corporate compliance and ethics. His commitment to integrity aligns with the organization's mission.

Colleen Suite
Board TreasurerFounder of Venture Back Office, with more than a decade supporting venture capital and private equity firms. As a former controller at Aurora Funds, she built a deep command of corporate finance, financial modeling, and due diligence. She serves as a steward of organizational resources.

Colonel James Saenz (Ret.)
Board MemberA West Point graduate, Jim served more than 30 years in the Army, mostly in Special Forces (the Green Berets). He served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense and worked with the Department of Defense, State Department, and intelligence community. He leads the Hispanic Veterans Leadership Alliance.

Katharine Kollins
Board MemberHolds an MBA and a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University. She currently leads the Southeastern Wind Coalition and serves on the Board of Advanced Energy, with a long history of working across party lines.

John Singleton
Board MemberSpent over 20 years as Director of International Services at Texas Christian University, with expertise in strategic planning and immigration law compliance.
